Mechanical Engineer II

We need a qualified individual with experience in CNC programming, CAD, productivity optimization and process flow, cycle time reduction, cost reduction together with implementation of equipment and/or tooling.   This will be accomplished by having familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures associated with metal cutting.

The position requires at least three to five years experience. Knowledge of lean manufacturing disciplines. Be able to develop procedural documentation to support shop routers and CNC programs. Utilize lean methods of set up reduction, visual controls, standard work and other tools to drive process improvement. Excellent communication and strong computer skills are required. Must stimulate change and progressive thinking.
